I believed many student are curious, why USM spend a lot of money on infrastructure such as building painting, building 'pondok' anywhere, organising plenty of events, DTSP renovation, padang kawad renovation and so on. The question is why USM spend so much money on such things? Why don't USM spend more money on student welfare, maintanence of facilities etc... The answer is because there are allocation on APEX fund for such renovation.
Let's talk about last year intake of new student, USM had exceeded the allocation fund of RM800k to RM1.4million. Why such thing happen? Is it because of poor management of USM? Student want to know what going on? "Transparent"... Perhaps no one take advantage on that fund.
Let's talk on another issue, why BHEPP gave a lot of troubles to student when student want to organized events? There are many stages we need to go through when organize an event, every single thing the student do need to refer to BHEPP even though it's a good event where can beneficial student. Yes, i do agree student need to refer to BHEPP when organising event but not let the event control by BHEPP staff. BHEPP is just a student affair department, they are not control over the whole USM. Reducing the birocracy in USM will enhance the uviversity development.
